We turn it into a real, working platform: rebuilt fresh, under your brand, not copied.
What carries across from a reference is how the product works — the flows, the rules, the data model underneath. What does not carry across is anyone else’s code, brand, content, or infrastructure. That distinction is the basis of this service, and it is also where the honest limits sit: if a platform needs a licence to operate legally, that licence stays yours, and you hear about it during scoping rather than after the invoice.

From a reference to a platform you own
The start is deliberately light on paperwork and specific about scope. Most projects here begin with a link and a conversation rather than a brief, and the scoping stage is where the uncomfortable questions get asked — while they are still cheap to answer.

Show us the reference
An idea, a screenshot, or a live site is enough to start scoping. You do not need wireframes or a technical specification; if you have them they speed things up, and if you do not, the first conversation produces what we need.
Step 02
We scope it honestly
What is realistically buildable, what timeline is real, and what licensing or compliance stays on your side. If a feature you have seen depends on a licence, a data provider, or a payment partner you do not yet have, you hear it now rather than three months in.

We build the functionality
Rebuilt fresh under your brand — your design, your naming, your rules — not copied code or trademarks. Delivery runs in working stages you can use and react to, because requirements always change once someone clicks through something real.
Step 04
You own it
Full handover, no lock-in: code, database, infrastructure configuration, and documentation, in your accounts and your repositories. We will maintain it if you want us to, and hand over cleanly to your own team if you do not.
Common questions
Are you copying someone else’s platform?
No — we rebuild the functionality and experience under your brand. We don’t copy code, trademarks, or backend infrastructure. What carries over is how the product works, which is not the part anyone owns. What stays behind is their code, their name, their design assets, their content, and their data. If a project only makes sense as an imitation of another company, that is not a project we take.
Do I need licences for trading or property investment features?
Regulatory and licensing requirements stay your responsibility — we handle the platform and software, not compliance. We will flag the requirements we can see while scoping, because they are cheaper to discover early, but obtaining them and operating within them is yours. We are not licensed advisers, and a developer who tells you the licensing will sort itself out is telling you something expensive.
What if I only have a screenshot, not a live site?
That’s enough to start. More reference material means faster, more accurate scoping — a live link, several screens, or a description of what should happen when a user clicks — but a single image is a legitimate starting point, and it is how a good number of these projects have begun.
Can you build something not on this list?
Ask us — if it’s a realistic, database-driven platform, it’s probably in scope. The five above are what we are asked for most often, not a menu. What sits outside it is work that depends on hardware we would have to invent, on data nobody will license to you, or on a scale that needs a funded engineering team rather than a build partner.
How long does a build like this take?
It depends on scope, and you get a real number at step two rather than an encouraging one. A focused platform with a clear reference and one type of user is usually a matter of weeks to a first working version. An exchange or marketplace with payments, verification, and full admin tooling is longer, and we would rather say so than quote a date we already know we will miss.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. Code, database, and infrastructure configuration are yours, in your repositories and your hosting accounts, with documentation for whoever maintains it next. We do not build systems only we can run, and we do not hold a project hostage through access.
How is this priced?
Scoped as a project with a written estimate before anything is built. Cost tracks scope more than category: how many types of user the platform has, whether money moves through it, and how much admin tooling you need are what actually move the figure. Ongoing maintenance is quoted separately and openly, because a platform is not finished the day it launches.
